About me

I work as a business coach, project manager and writer. I also work as an organisational consultant, helping groups to work well together, and to implement and manage optimum working practices.

I have graduate and postgraduate degrees in science, technology and information management, a post-graduate diploma in Humanistic Psychology, and spent a year studying music at Trinity College.

Before launching Enspiral Ltd in 2001, I worked as a management consultant for Deloitte Consulting and as a Project Manager for BBC News for twelve years. Throughout that time, I maintained a parallel career in counselling, coaching and humanistic psychology, doing many short courses as well as training as a counsellor at the Metanoia Institute (1999) and gaining a Diploma in Humanistic Psychology (Advanced Facilitation, Coaching and Change Management) from the Institute for the Development of Human Potential in (2002-4).  I have taken two extended career breaks to travel in East and South Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

I am co-author, with Lucy Martin, of "Make It Your Business: The Ultimate Business Start-Up Guide for Women" voted best of it's kind by Management Today, and have appeared as a business commentator on BBC 2 programme Working Lunch as well as various local and national radio stations.

I was a founder member of the women's business group Wimbledon Women in Business  and work closely with the Ursuline Girls School, particularly to support their status as a specialist school for Business and Enterprise.
